Keshi recalls yobo for mexico clash

Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi has handed a recall to centre-back Joseph Yobo for the international friendly against Mexico in Atlanta on March 5.

It is exactly one year and two days since the Norwich defender featured for Nigeria after being a member of the squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Keshi has continually stated that Yobo remains the captain of the Nigerian men's national team despite the spat that broke out between the two after the Afcon in South Africa last year.
The Nigerian captain recently joined Norwich City on a loan deal till the end of the season from Fenerbahce in a bid to secure regular playing time.
Yobo is however not the only player making a return to the Nigerian team as the duo of Juwon Oshaniwa and Bright Dike are also back in the mix.
Ramon Azeez, Michael Uchebo and Imoh Ezekiel are all in line to make their international debut against Mexico while Keshi also called up the quartet of Abdullahi Shehu, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Kunle Odunlami and Ejike Uzoenyi who were part of the squad to the 2014 African Nations Championship (Chan).
The Nigerian manager also called up just two goalkeepers in Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide thereby leaving out Chigozie Agbim, who came under criticism at the Chan in South Africa.
Seven defenders, five midfielders and eight strikers were called up for the trip to the United States billed for next month.
